Dr. Regina Henderson
Raised in Charlotte, NC, Dr. Henderson is an alumni of Garinger High School. She received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1991. In 1995 she received a Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. During her four years in dental school, Dr. Henderson worked alongside the residents in the University Hospital as a dental assistant on-call. A position given to only a few students, Dr. Henderson was able to assist and learn a great deal from them about treating dental emergencies from toothaches to jaw fractures and facial injuries.
Dr. Henderson is very passionate about learning and keeping up with the latest technologies and techniques for treating her patients. Over her 23 year career, she has been a member of several dental societies and study clubs and is an alumni of the Pankey Institute and the Triangle Dental Institute.
In her “spare time,” Dr. Henderson enjoys spending time with the youth in her church and other organizations. She also enjoys intense workouts, nature, and traveling with her two daughters, Lauren and Alexis and their puppy Blue.
